I beleive you hook thid device on an ide chain. I know it looks like a floppy connector but, some old devices were ide with the smaller connector. I'm not positive on this so you may want to read up on it.

I used to use one of these in 93' From what i can remeber...it took forever to back something up. You can buy a cd burner and 100 cd's for under 70$. JUst use a damn cd burner:) heh
