Cpt Uzziah

Haven't had much experience with hardware apart from taken my own machines apart and puttin them back together. One time though i installed a new stick of ram and after that my pc refuse to boot...i think in the end i had to cut all power to the mother board so to reset things...dunno, the guy that was with me seemed to know what he was doing.

I'm kinda thinking though about the beeping, that's the noise you get when your pc starts up (well mine does anyway), it kinda happens when the monitor kicks in, which i would say comes from the video card. Then again maybe your PSU is playing up a bit, maybe it dies for a split second and now it only giving out a low wattage.

These are just guesses...sorry i couldn't be of more help.
