Non-Starting Computer

Tr prophet618

I hope that someone can help me. My computer was working perfectly up until aabout 2 months ago. It was virus-free, regularly Disk-Doctored, Win-Doctered, System-Doctored, and Defragged. All of a sudden, it started restarting every couple of hours. Over the next week or so, the random, unprovoked restarting became more and more frequent. Eventually, about 3 weeks ago, it went to restart and failed. The power light was lit, but my comp was not booting. It goes one or two seconds, then makes a series of beeping sounds of various lengths. I am unable to figure out what is wrong. Anyone have any ideas?
