CD-ROM/RW woes... (MIGHT be software....)

Hi people.

Right, my CD-ROM and CD-RW work just fine, except, programs like Nero and Easy CD-DA Extractor don't recognise them. I'm forced to use "Virtual Burn Device" in Nero... which just burns a HDD image.

Other than that, they might work...

Other Info: It stopped working right after I used InCD (a Nero Plugin) to format a RW disk in UDF. I then ejected the drive, and reinserted it, and it mounted. I copied some stuff onto it, used it to transfer to the other PC, but when I put the RW CD back in this PC, it wouldn't mount it. in exporer, the icon shows up as a writable disc, but double-clicking the icon only pops up a message saying "Insert A disc"

Any clues (or - preferable - solutions...)??
