I'm in the midst of producing of two cannons --- a spud gun, and a water rocket cannon.

Would it be possible to use compressed air to power either of them? It'd be alot safer for the spud gun, and no physical pumping for the water rocket.

I looked into using CO2 for the water cannon. It'd be ridiclously expensive per launch for that thing. So does anyone have any suggestions on using other gasses for high-powered launches?
