One of my main concerns when buying a laptop is what OS am I going to want on it. If it's linux, then make sure you pay special attention to the hardware, mainly the modem and the network card. Most of the vid cards are either ATI or nVidia now, so that's not a big concern. Most of those cards will work just fine. If you just want Windows, then by the looks of the configuration and the fact that I haven't seen many post about this computer in support forums, then it is probably a decent system.  Lt.
