I like the idea of combining a home made steam engine with a computer. It would work best on desktop models, then we can just use a glass cylinder, and a funnel. Seal the top of the cylinder, and cool it using one of these electronic heat pump chips, allowing the condensate (still) to fall into the funnel and be poured back over the CPU. Obviously we would have the risk of boiling alcohol (Ether at 37C) leaking into our computer, but it could be built at home, and would still work with ambient temperatures of 60C and higher !
