You can change the setting in the BIOS that pertains to on-board sound. You should be able to turn it off there and then the only sound card windows will notice is the one you installed. If the bios doesn't have that option, you'll have to check the manual for your motherboard b/c there is a jumper to set to turn it off. Lt.
