b]Technology:[/b] Social Networking Web Sites
Bit Of Info: Myspace and Facebook are all the rave now these days. An with both seeming to head opensource for outside developers. Apparently having 10,000 new applications is just what people want.
Prediction: Give a year or alittle over and people will slowly lose interest.

b]Technology:[/b] Online IT support - you to me
Bit Of Info: New websites that allow anyone on the web to help someone with a IT project. People sign up, set their charge per hour. Customer needing help searchs the site and selects a user thats currently online by viewing matches who meet their needs.
Prediction: Big hit with the first few months and then fail.

b]Technology:[/b] Opensource Tech
Bit Of Info: No need to hit the background on this one. Anyone here should know the details on opensource. People are becoming more aware of options they have on the computer. I think this is due to 2 reasons. 1: People pick up computer skills at a much earlier age and 2: People with less computer skills learn from much younger to "fit in". Why have Adobe when Googles Picasa works so well?
Prediction: It will slowly take trend but see a large downfall when major software vendors start releasing free software of thier own laced with ads and update pop ups.
