![]() ![]() Delta Tr dopel This is the first election in years where I didnt hate both candidates. This election is not about choosing the lesser of two evils. They both have good merit in my book. I dont like Obama's outlook for taxes or McCain's views on abortion. I don't like the amount in taxes I have to pay as it is and under obama, it will likely increase. I paid more in taxes last year than the average American makes. In general, I like both candidates and I am not yet decided which way I will go. I very much doubt we have the activity levels to have the same kind of debates that we have had here during the last 2 US presidential elections (which is a shame, I used to enjoy them!), but I would be interested in knowing who community members are (or would if non-US) support. > >Obama would get my support at the moment (but I am non-US), but I have to admit I don't have much info on either of the candidates. I think the US needs somebody who is a little different, and McCain seems to feel a little like he would be more of the same. In the coming months, I will no doubt learn some more, and have a stronger opinion. > >So, thoughts? Replies:
