Adding your brigade RSS feeds to FireFox
Gen adtrace raised the possibility of adding the Brigade RSS Feeds to FireFox as an extension.

    Interview Volunteers Wanted
Working on a very well thought-out plan for the CA-History Project (formerly Manifesto), knoledgesponge asked the community for permission to interview those who have a good memory and can help him in writing the CyberArmy History. A lot of old-schoolers responded.

    Feedback Input Gets Lost!
bubuche93 was complaining that his feedback request had not been replied to yet. OSI feedback representative, Cpt SAJChurchey, responded that the concern he raised is still under discussion. I?ve been in Feedback before, so I ask all members to be patient regarding feedback, as there are some items that require in-depth discussion, especially if it involves coding.

Ikioi Back to Show Business I
The first Boomstick! Show that Ikioi did. Unfortunately, there is no written transcript for it. Nice one mate!

Ikioi Back to Show Business II
Boomstick! is a new show that Ret. Mar. Ikioi did, even though he stated clearly he would not do them again. I guess his showmanship got the better of him in this case!

Register With The CA Mapping Project!
Ret. Mar. craytonic promoted the Mapping project, by asking members to register today.

    zZine Fortnightly Issue #10 released!
Another on-time release of zZine, this time introducing a new non-CyberArmy topic, ?Artificial Intelligence?. Robots, Agents, Eliza, an Introduction to AI, and much, much more. Don?t miss this one either!

    craytonic Returns!
Ret. Mar. craytonic is back. His return was heralded with the inquiry ?Just wondering where my Marshal badge got to The problem was that his rank was Ret. LtKer., whilst he was a Marshal back in the very very old days of Overlord. The situation has since been resolved. Welcome back mate!

    CyberArmy Treasury/Funding Brigade?
Tr. isidore raised a suggestion to let him start a brigade to administer CyberArmy finances.

    Visual Design Projects Input needed!
Catfancy requests some input for the Visual Design brigade, located in SAS. Decent replies with nice ideas!

    CyberArmy Affiliates
Although there were few replies, knoledgesponge asked for a list of CyberArmy affiliates, in hopes of creating a Wiki page for it.

    zZine Fortnightly Issue #9 released!
On time as usual, zZine's Fortnightly issue this time covers the future of the CyberArmy Brigades. It also includes the previous Digests, Top Posters, and several articles varying the theme. Don?t miss it!

Now, moving to the public forum:

    Sir Bill Gates! (sort of)
Her majesty Queen Elizabeth II has given Bill Gates, head of Microsoft, an honorary knighthood. It is worth mentioning that the title was not given for anything computer related, but for his charitable work through his foundation and in other ways.

    Services Problems on PI
Apparently there were some problems with the server that hosts the CAIRC Services, pi.cyberarmy.net, announced by Ker. Hisim, who is the administrator of that server. Of course, now things are sorted!

CyberArmy Advanced Hardware Project Website Down
PixieLuv, CoCommanding Officer of the CAAHP group, announced that the site is having difficulties and is going down for a while. Expect it to be back soon at www.caahp.com!

    Hosts Required For CA Radio
CyberArmy Radio is requesting help from anyone who can offer hosting for them in order to continue their preparations for their broadcast.

    INFOSEC 2005
Are you going to INFOSEC this year? Then, what are you waiting for? Get together with your CyberArmy friends and be there in force!

    SHEPHERD is back home
Gen. (and now Mar.) SHEPHERD, former commanding officer of CyberArmy University, is safely back home from Iraq! Welcome back mate! Oh, and be well and stay safe!

    Holy Moly! CyberArmy For Sale!
Indeed, a very interesting item for sale on eBay, at least for one day. Retired ViceCinC marchon, former host of CyberArmy, was selling our data online! Hopefully, the issue was resolved after several conversations with him, and "The seller ended this listing early".

CAU to announce the resumption of classes
CyberArmy University Class Delivery division has announced the forthcoming resumption of classes, starting with C++ 106 scheduled on 10/02/2005, then adjourned to 12/02/2005 (that's Feb. 10th and 12th for you dd/mm/yyyy folks).

This concludes the digest for the Members and Public Forums. See you next month!
