Issue #1 : Promotion Digest August 2004| Category | | | Summary | | Promo Digest from August 2004. |
| | Body | There have been only five promotions in August of 2004. Three in OSI, and two in CPC. All these promotions were granted to writers and editors. The Editorial and Privacy Threats are both writing groups. So, does this mean something?
Lieutenant Cyben
XO Of Editorial (#346)
Open Source Institute
Promoted on 2004-08-25 08:55:15 from 2ndLt
Second Lieutenant n3ptun0x
Member Of Editorial (#346)
Open Source Institute
Promoted on 2004-08-18 07:23:35 from Tr
I spoke with Cyben and n3ptunOx's C/O, Cpt SAJChurchey, who said: "I'm resigning as C/O of Editorial, and Cyben will be taking over. He has been a very supportive X/O and a very productive writer for OSI." When I asked him about n3ptunOx, SAJChurchey said, "n3ptun0x is also a very skilled and productive writer able to adapt to whatever the OSI Staff asks of him. We asked for more software development-related articles and he was able to deliver such articles rather quickly, despite his lack of technical skill."
Captain SAJChurchey
CO Of Editorial (#346)
Open Source Institute
Promoted on 2004-08-18 07:24:47 from Lt
As we know, he has been doing an excellent job running the Editorial Group, and due to "new focus on his school work", he had to resign to leave the command in Cyben's hands. Good luck mate!
Moving on to the writers of the Privacy Commission, in the Privacy Threats group, we have:
Lieutenant PJD
XO Of Privacy Threats (#576)
Privacy Commission
Promoted on 2004-08-08 16:48:59 from 2ndLt
Second Lieutenant Soprano
Member Of Privacy Threats (#576)
Privacy Commission
Promoted on 2004-08-08 16:48:46 from Tr
What may also be noticed is that the promotions this month are small ones, meaning that there were no higher rank promotions that required Promotion Council or Staff approval. We are looking forward to more promotions in the future, indicative of more work being done. |
