CyberArmy Project Planning and Development| Category | | | Summary | | CyberArmy Project Planning and Development is an initiative started by and under the command of newly returned Ret. Marshal craytonic. |
| | Body | The group currently consists of OPERATION ALBATRON, currently active and commissioned to plan and develop a full Cyberarmy mIRC script with a focus on security (utilizing the SSL functionality of CAIRC) and popup integration with the Cyberarmy website. The current Command Officer in charge is Tr Haddock.
It also includes OPERATION BLUE JEZEBEL, currently active and commissioned to monitor, report and assist on the recruitment of officers to the direct parent brigade (CPPAD). The current Command Officer in charge is Tr deltron, aka. donnie on CAIRC.
This group came about because Ret. Mar. craytonic believes that CyberArmy started as an ambitious community "that wanted to make a name for themselves, which turned into a community that sits talking about it".
CPPAD also will take part in joint projects that with groups like CyberArmy Advanced Hardware Projects and CyberArmy Public Relations. For instance, a brainchild of craytonic called Operation CATS (CyberArmy Technical Support) will be a grand work from CAAHP and CAPR that aims to grant "Free Online Technical Support for all", through the Specialist Forums (Security, Programming, Hardware, and Operating Systems) to help members with problems. The technician would proceed to help the user step by step until they are satisfied and their problem is fixed.
The benefits of such projects are to improve CyberArmy's reputation and respect inside the IT world. Furthermore, these projects embody our mission statement, part of which is to teach people more about the computers that they use on a day to day basis. "That way, people would do their own PC fixing".
CPPAD has so far managed to recruit a large staff of CA old-schoolers. As craytonic is still recruiting, expect the list of troops to expand much more, in hopes that this will help the brigade start producing results. |
