Welcome to the final BCoord's Corner for 2005. In this installment I'll try and recap where we've been, where we are, and of course, where we're headed from the Brigade Coordinator's chair.

[i]Over the past year we've seen a lot of changes in BrigC's, so who were they, and where are they now?

Marshal DigitalDemon returned to CA, and to the BrigC position.
Marshal Shepherd retired, but has now returned to the BrigC position.
Marshal (now CinC) Condor191 stepped down, returned to the BrigC position, and was appointed the new CinC.
CinC Adv. Scanjack has returned, and is actively working as a BrigC along with his advisor duties.
Marshal Tacheon has stepped down, began working with the Privacy Commission and has now retired.

OK, so who are your Brigade Coordinators now, and what brigades do they cover?

Marshal DigitalDemon - SAS, OSI
Marshal Shepherd - CAU, TPC (formerly CPC)
CinC ADV. Scanjack - SOS

Please feel free to contact us if we can be of any assistance to you.

What about the CyberArmy Brigades?

We've seen a lot of changes over the past year here as well, and I'm sure there will be more to come. Three brigades changed commanding officers, and they have certainly lived up to our expectations. Not to be outdone by the new blood, the senior C/Os have pushed their brigades in many new directions, and are adding new projects to keep CyberArmy rolling along.

How active are our members?

This year we've seen another large decline in active members, but things have started to turn around again over the last month.

Why?

Because Sered owns you!

That's right! We now have one of our challenges up and running, and I can clearly see the large bird of fire looming on the horizon. We'd like to thank both ChalDev teams for all their great work.
After only two weeks, member activity is up 300%, and growing everyday, so you can imagine what will happen when Phoenix comes online in 2006.

(Editor's note: the Phoenix challenges have now been merged with the Sered challenges.)

So what kind of shape is CA in now?

Very good from where I sit. We've just moved to a new server, we have a new challenge and another on the way. We have new leadership, new ideas, and more new features that will soon be released. It's a great time to be in CyberArmy.

Any more "new blood" come in?

Yes, and I'd like to congratulate Kernels PixieLuv and icklenewt for being recommended and accepted into the CA Staff Training Program. They both have worked very hard for CA, and will make great additions to the Staff.

So how can you help?

As always, we'd like to hear your thoughts, problems, or comments. I can never stress that enough!

If you don't let us know what's wrong, we can't look at fixing it, so whether it's praise for your C/O or a complaint against them, thoughts on what Staff can do better, or something you can't get resolved, we're here to help. You can also use our feedback system to let us know what features you'd like to see, your ideas on existing features, or challenge bugs you found (or think you found).

Another way to help is to make a donation to our treasury. We are member-funded, so we need everyone's support to make sure CyberArmy stays strong and on track.

Scanjack, Shepherd, and myself would like to wish all of you a happy holiday season, and we look forward to working with everyone in the coming new year.

~DD
