Challenge rank
Adtrace proposed switching the rank and Sered prefixes around (instead of Alpha Trooper Fred, it would be Trooper Alpha Fred), because the current setup subverts brigade ranks to challenge ranks. After some discussion it was decided to keep it the way it is now, as it is working fine and there have been no complaints.

03-12

Challenge discussion
Socrat asked why the Sered rules did not allow discussion about previous challenges on the Sered challenge forums. His point was that if people were allowed to discuss previous challenges, they could share information about how they did it.

It was decided to change the rules, and now challenge discussion is allowed about the previous level on any of the Sered forums. Discussion about a level that still has to be completed remains prohibited.

17-12

Welcome back Shepherd!
Marshal Shepherd has returned from retirement and is once again a Brigade Coordinator. Welcome Shep, it's good to have you back!

18-12

Watch your language!
There were some complaints about the use of language and general civility of several users on the forums. It was decided to make sure existing policies were used more often in order to issue disciplinary actions for users who do not behave or use bad language on the forums. Be warned!

19-12

Sered and Moderation
Concerns were raised about the lack of moderation presence on the Sered forums. The problem was that if moderators would be given access, they would not be allowed to do the challenges. It was decided to let moderators choose themselves whether or not they wanted access to the SERED forums.

20-12

Farewell xwyzard
After being on staff for a long time, Kernel xwyzard decided to retire from his staff duties. We are saddened by his departure and hope he will one day return. He is more than welcome to do so!

25-12

Merry Christmas!
Staff wishes everybody a Merry Christmas!

27-12

Retirement of Tacheon
On the 27th of December, Marshal Tacheon was retired. He was on Staff for several years, first as C/O of CPC and later as Brigade Coordinator. His sudden departure caused some people to ask questions about the reason he had to leave. Staff offers its support to make his return possible. Until then, he will be missed!

31-12

Happy New Year!
Staff wishes everybody a Happy New Year! May 2006 be a great year for everybody and for the community in general
