You know, there's a beauty in Cyberarmy that mirrors our entire planet. Like the planet, the population of CA is governed by the go-getters and the gung ho members, but, the righteous cause is also the conquest of the devious. So here we, the mighty CA, with the potential to control the world through the Internet, we flounder in numbers and look like fools to the rest of the world. Like it or not "world", any server, any site, any page, any code on the Internet has been or can be touched by the name of CyberArmy or its members. However, don't worry about it too much. You're safe, because we at CA are too busy being petty internally to regroup and become something important.

I decided to write this article to instill some pride in all the members of CA, past, present and future. It was just after talking in a channel on IRC that is almost as old as Internet time. We were discussing this very subject of apathy of our group. You have to admit, a handful of people have to end up in control of and doing most of the work for CA, simply for security reasons. However, since we all think things should be the way we want them to be, the lack of access and control that we have in certain respects causes a certain amount of disinterest. So our only problem is how to increase the off-site interactivity. Get the challenges up, work on them as they go. Get people involved, give gold stars for best challenges created, and do it by a vote of all members.
Oh and we might consider not censoring any of our members. Let's face it, people fight, argue, grumble, preach and whine. If you take away their right to vent ... Bingo! You guessed it, disinterest and then,"I'm outta here, screw these people. Let's see who does all the work now." If you want to breed excellence, show a lot of love for your people. Let them speak their minds - in the forums, uncensored, where it either hurts or helps. So I'll start off - I want everyone, from the nobodies to the n3cros, the Trooper tulkas' to the par excellence Retireds of our great tribe, to feel my love, respect and enjoyment of being a part of something so kewl. The Internet will never know how grateful it should be to all we've contributed to it. It's not over; we are still something good. We are a family. We just have to realize that daddy's gonna have to pick up after others and mommy is gonna scream in the kitchen. Live with it and go do some chores. "God ya'll as lazy as me."
I hope this wasn't too long to bore and long enough to inspire. I really want to help out someone who is putting forth a great effort for CA. He was there for the convo in #cyberarmy today and he inspired me to help him.

Thanks h3raLd!
