- Star system : General idea was to bring back the system of members being able to earn stars, in addition to promotions. This idea originating from an older version of CA - for those of you who remember it :). Although this proposal got much discussion, and some evolution in the idea, it has been decided to be put on hold as a possibility in some form for the future. This is due primarily to other priorities at this time.
- Site Organisation : Some good points were raised regarding the navigation of the site, but no major changes are forseeable at this time. However, all observations/suggestions will be taken into consideration during the next revamp of the site whenever that shall occur.
- Signature Help : A link to a tutorial was submitted, for us to include somewhere more accessable for members. We haven't got this up just yet, but will do soon, and will mention its final location in the next digest.
- /files/ : This month CA had the exciting announcement of the new /files/ section to the community. This was a beta release and so of course along with it came a few suggestions. Among these were mainly to add the name of who uploaded a file, including the option to be anonymous, adding the date and time of upload, and listing the most recent files added. All these suggestions will be encorporated soon.
- Folders on CAMessenger : This feedback is for customisable folders for your messages, or some default ones you can move them into. A thread on members was also started regarding this. Another possibility discussed was to be able to offer a search instead. This feature is not currently a priority for CA coders, but may be adressed in future.
- Skill set : Proposed to be able to view a members skill set from their plan. Well in fact when the feature of listing your skills was first announced, the future plan was for this to be added. Currently, this feature is part of a bigger change that may take time, so we'll have to wait and see.
Bugs Fixed
- www.cyberarmy.net/irc/ : As we no longer use cairc.net, this link was updated. This is where our cgi script can be found, and information regarding CAIRC can now be found here: www.cyberarmy.net/wiki/irc.
- my mail : typo "intrested" fixed.
Bugs Outstanding
- 500 Errors : These errors are still popping up and unsolved. If reporting such an error, can you please provide us with the following:
Whether the error had the CyberArmy layout or not
Time it occured
Page it occured on and/or action it occured during (eg posting)
Misc
- CAIRC on mIRC : irc.cyberarmy.net has now been resubmitted to mIRC.
