Sound takes a new leap

Summary
There is a new speaker set, whose makers claim it to be the best PC speaker set. (Consumer market level anyway ;) What is this beast? This pure audio wonder? The Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound model Z-680. What makes the Z-680 the king? Well, let's look at
Body
Speaker Configuration: 4 satellite speakers with center channel speaker and subwoofer

Digital Decoder Included: Yes

Speaker Power: 50W each

Subwoofer Power: 200W

Speaker Controls: Power, Mute, Surround effects, Volume

Location of Controls: Separate control center, with wireless remote

Frequency Response: 35Hz - 20kHz

Impedance: 10K ohms

Not to mention more connections you can shake the proverbial stick at. Analog? Check. Digital? Check. Optical? Check. You got a headphone jack? How about three?

Hook it up to your PC, your game console, or even your DVD player!

Maximum PC <a target=_top href = http://www.maximumpc.com>magazine[/url] has named it in their ?gear of the year? as the best of the best. In their official review they named it the ?Best damn PC speakers we've ever heard? and gave it the ?Kick Ass? award. The speakers also managed to receive the elusive perfect 10 verdict.

What a time for my current speakers to blow out. I'm really quite sad >:)
