Summary
Because of a suggestion, zZine now has a weekly article called 'Profiles.' It will always be about a regular member of CA. Out of a hat, I chose CIA. I then asked Gen. leto for the name of an active member of CIA who was c6 or lower. He suggested m

BlackFlag: First of all, thank you for taking the time to be interviewed by zZine in this very first issue of 'Profiles.'

maxtrin: Your welcome.

BF: How would you describe your role/job within CyberArmy?

max: My job in CyberArmy is, as many people know, in Public Relations. I basically let people know how much CIA is here for them and how much we can help the CyberArmy public.

BF: How long have you been in CIA?

max: I have been in CIA since October. It really hasn't been that long, yet.

BF: What was your brigade experience before joining CIA?

max: I started off as a Captain in Morale, working with people. After that, an entire shift of power took place and I found myself in CAIRC working with people in real time, helping them answering questions, etc.

BF: When did you join CA?

max: I joined CA back in 1999.

BF: Wow, so you're quite a long-time user. How'd you find it?

max: Well, I actually heard about it in one of the Napster Chat rooms and decided to check it out for myself.

BF: I'm assuming you just enjoyed the challenges for a while, until joining Morale?

max: In morale I was working under Blindboy and continued to beat the challenges until I got to LtKer. The challenge to become a Ker. had me quite confused. I hit the brick wall of LtKer. just last year in 2001.

BF: What are your personal goals, in both CA and in real life?

max: In real life I wish to graduate from High School and move on to a nice college; preferably a school that has both baseball and theatre. In CA, I would like to obtain the rank of general and leave some sort of legacy for the other members of CA, when I decide it's time for me to leave. As I am sure that many others would like to do the same.

BF: Where did you come up with the handle 'maxtrin' ?

max: I guess it started when I was talking to some of my friends and one of them accidentially called me Max. Then I saw that it went somewhat with "The Matrix," and I just changed up some of the spelling and added an "n" to the end of it.

BF: What are your thoughts on CA as it currently is?

max: CA right now is still becoming greater than I have ever seen it; the public of CA is actually getting along much better than in the past. I see right now that everyone in CA is striving to make it better.

BF: Where do you see room for improvement?

max: Well the site will continue to get better and better from all the different ideas coming from everyone who wants to see CA get better. But as soon as everything is up and running in CA, I really don't see anything that would need to be changed or improved.

BF: Is there anything else that you'd like to add?

max: Just one thing: Having been a member of CA for some time now has given me plenty of time to think and see others as they really are: people. It doesn't really matter what race, ethnicity, or even whether they are male or female. Being in CA is a wonderful thing because it gives you a sense of community as it was meant to be, without persecution of race or religion. Even though people may not always agree on things we are still human and never shall be perfect.

BF: Thank you for your time, and have a nice night.

max: Your welcome, you too.
