Heeeeeeeeeeeeere's what the staff's been up to this week! :)

Body

Bugs squashed: Vice-CinC wa1800z fixed several bugs this week, including a problem with the random password generator which unfortunately prompted the reset of all passwords in the database. Now that this problem is fixed, though, it should reduce the problems people are having with signing up. In addition, a new feature was added to the forum this week: length of date/time since last post! Now we forum monkeys don't have to do any of that pukey math stuff to figure out if we've been to a forum since the last post or not. ;) Thanks for your hard work, wa1800z! :D

CA Improvements Request for Comment: Vice-CinC Wang and the Ready Response crew are taking steps to gather suggestions from the CA populace for possible implementation. Brigade Reports: Top-level C/Os have been instructed to submit reports on both their current brigade activity and their year-end goals to the CinCs. This will be of great help in resolving several of the brigades-related issues identified by CA members.

External Relations: Vice-CinC barnseyboy is taking a lead in developing external relations with other security-related sites. This is a very positive step toward improving CA's reputation in the Internet community as a whole.

CAER renamed to CASR: CyberArmy Exploit Research has renamed to CyberArmy Security Research, in order to broaden their brigade's focus on security as a whole.

Promotions abound!: Several of our hardworking members were promoted this week: 2nd Lt Virtex (CASR), 2nd Lt paragod (CASR), 2nd Lt paranaut (CASR) Lt w0lf (OSI), 2nd Lt Eidolon (OSI), 2nd Lt Azar (OSI), and Maj Crash Reaver (CA-SAS).
