Summary
Well, where do I start? The past fortnight has been an extremely busy one for OSI, with record sign ups and page hits. But then on seeing what we have been up to, I think you will agree.
Body
For starters it has seen the activation of our GEEK challenges. Some of you might have started them already and I think you will agree that they are pretty testing and good fun. We currently have five levels up and are constantly working on more. Also for that little bit extra we are going to introduce bonus levels to keep testing you all the time.

Next we have our Coding challenge. This is very different from GEEK, it is an obfuscated code challenge. "Well, what's so good about that?" I hear you cry. Well how does $50 strike you? I'm sensing I may have gained a bit more attention so I urge you pop over to www.ca-osi.com and check out the rules.

Unfortunately the projects area is taking a little longer than anticipated to get up and running. Xenic, who has been working on this section mainly, has been having some ISP troubles and is currently searching for a new one. We promise you that this eagerly awaited function of the site will be online as soon as possible.

But we have added some new functions to the site to make up for it. We now have an applet that will get you into our irc channel (and very nice it is to) also a link to us section for those wishing to display our banner and *shock horror* link to us! You may have noticed the link on the left saying OSI shop, at the moment it contains our Amazon affiliate program. So do you have to buy a book soon, check out the OSI shop link and see if you can buy it through there and voila you've done a little something to help out OSI.

On top of all this we are still churning out our articles, with useful code examples being very popular at the moment. Sefo our latest staff member has gone into overdrive and given us some great perl code. The OSI staff are very happy with some of the submissions that are coming from outside of our team and urge anyone who feel the have a good coding trick, or something they would like to show off to submit it and see what happens. Remember, each posted article earns you a hint for our GEEK challenges!!

We are currently recruiting for developers and admins for the site. Do you have something to offer? Come and check out the staff policy on the site.

So fancy a challenge, got something to show off, looking for a pointer or two on coding, think you are good enough to win $50 or all of the above? Head over to www.ca-osi.com and show us what you can do.
