Summary
This month, zZine features a fairly new title on a very old series. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is available for PCs now.
Body
A brief history on Grand Theft Auto Series:
The first two titles of the series involve nothing more then the character taking on missions for some gangs. The character could drive a car and use weapons to kill his opponents.

The third title came, which involved a better environment and 3-D graphics but still the same operations. Drive and Kill.

Two years later, Vice City came, which was improved and enhanced in many ways. The player now could get in to a business, by buying one or more companies, like a movie production studio.

Finally, last year Rockstar Games, the producer of this successful series, brought to us the latest title. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, for PS2 and XBOX and this year the game was released for PC.

The Game:
The character is Carl Johnson, an ex-prisoner, and in the beginning of the game you try to gain back your lost respect. As you move through the first missions of the game, you gain respect and sometimes money to spend on haircuts, clothes and tattoos.

There are a lot more attributes your character can have in this game. You can give him food to make him fat, and to keep him from starving to death. You can train him in weapons to improve his shooting skill, train in a gym to build up his muscles and learn new combat moves. You can dress him to improve sex-appeal and of course in this game you can have a girlfriend.

The game features some breath-taking graphics and it has excellent game play as long as you are not stuck on a mission. It can also be played in a free ride mode, where you can kill people, destroy vehicles and do whatever you choose to.

The in-game radio provides continuity to the game and makes it more realistic.
Most people prefer it closed or want to add their own songs. You can add your own mp3's so that they play while you are driving the vehicle.

This review does not fully cover the game because there are so many things which haven't been seen before. You will be surprised when you move on in the game and see the new things that are available like areas, clothing, haircuts and much more.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is worth buying if you like adventure/shoot 'em up games, for it involves the mafia way of living along with some real life aspects like having a girlfriend.
This game is very large in size. I believe it comes in a full DVD and it requires approximately three gigabytes of free space for installation. The people at Rockstar Games have done an excellent job.
