Nigerian Spam Debacle

Ret. Mar Ikioi has put up a forum post on the Members General Discussion Forum regarding the crackdown on Nigerian Spammers. He has provided useful information about how the spammers have changed their tactics, some tips on how to avoid spam, and an example text of the spam e-mail. For more information, check here.


Voice Interviews

2nd Lt Goatrider of the CyberArmy Nursery is currently undertaking a project, the details of which are currently confidential. Any C/O or X/O who would like to be interviewed about what work is currently being undertaken by his/her brigade should contact 2nd Lt Goatrider personally and set up the time and other details of the interview.

The interview would be setup using Skype (preferably) or by telephone. For more details, cMS 2nd Lt Goatrider.


New Domain Name for CPC

Lt Kernel Fu of the Cyberarmy Privacy Commission announced that CPC has just moved to a new domain name - http://www.privacycom.net, in an effort to make the name more in-tune with the public image of what CPC is all about. This would attract more visitors from outside the CyberArmy and also help in getting better search engine rankings. The old domain name is still active for now, but will soon become a redirect.

LtKer r00tpig of the zZine Media Group is giving out Gmail invites. To get invited, contact either LtKer r00tpig or Ker PixieLuv, who also happens to have a bunch of invitations to give out.


CyberArmy Member of the Month
