CyberArmy Privacy Commission: The Projects

Category

Summary
CPC always has a few projects in the works. They might be slow moving, but eventually, the project will be completed. We currently have two long term, never ending projects going on right now, SurfSafe and CAP (CyberArmy Petitions).
Body
SurfSafe has been the main focus of CPC for a very long time. Started back in the days of ScanJack, SurfSafe was a very popular website that held great news stories, proxy lists, crypto puzzles, and many other handy tools.

Although it has been redesigned many times, SurfSafe is still alive and kicking at http://www.cpc-net.org. We are starting to get more articles posted and a few downloads here and there. Our main goal is to make SurfSafe as popular as it was before.

Our second project, CAP, has been in the works for a very long time now and has finally been completed. CAP is the CyberArmy Petitions system. This system will allow anyone to propose a petition that is then sent to the CPC Executive Staff. After reviewing the petition for legality, authentication, and whether or not it falls under one of the specified categories, we will either accept it or reject it.

Unlike some of the other petition systems out there, we will not be accepting any stupid petitions like "Sign here to vote Doeycall out of CPC C/O because he lives in Indiana".

Those are our two main projects at this time. We also have Privacy Affiliates searching for organizations with the same goals as us to unite with so that CPC, CA, and the other organizations, can gain in their userbase.

Those are our major projects. Of course, we have smaller ones going on also, but those change so frequently that they are not worth posting. You will be reading about them soon enough on zzine.org and cpc-net.org.
