Summary
While summer is traditionally a pretty slow period in CA, between exams and traipsing around on family vacations, I'm happy to report some nice progress in a number of different areas.
Body
First, the forthcoming Projects system is very near completion, thanks to the efforts of Goldfish and Hisim, and has just entered final beta testing. For those who haven't been reading zZine over the past few months and don't know what this is (for shame!), in a nutshell, the Projects system is designed to run alongside the Brigades system in order to provide a complete picture of all the specific initiatives that CA's brigades are engaged in, and furthermore allow members to sign up to one or more projects in order to help out, regardless of what brigade they're in. It will provide a number of useful tools to help brigades better organize their efforts, and help give people a better idea of where they can participate. Much more on this in the coming weeks, as we begin to roll it out "live."

Secondly, some improvements have made to tracking user account security. Chawmp's designed a notifier on the front page to identify where user accounts were last accessed from, in an effort to alert users to anything that may be fishy. By going to a website such as http://www.whatismyip.com and comparing against what is shown there, you can ensure that only the IPs and hostnames you expect to be accessing your account have been accessing your account.

Public Relations is another key focus this month - Hisim, craytonic, and others are working on developing tools and methodologies for getting CyberArmy's name out there, while at the same time making positive contributions to outside publications (hopefully, a win-win situation).

Also, If you haven't yet, check out the new Geek Reverser challenges at OSI's site. While technically they were released last month, they still bear mentioning due to the awesome and unique challenge they present.
